We are a Welsh team from Ysgol Gyfun Gymraeg Bro Edern competing in the F1 in Schools competition 2023-2024. Our school has produced teams that have made it to the UK finals in the past. Our team consists of students that are excited by learning about physics, aerodynamics and manufacturing.

Since starting in 2021 we have won/been nominated for almost every award and have had many achievements.

We came 3rd in the UK Nationals in 2021 and were the Welsh Development Regional Champions and awarded Best Engineered Car Award. We were also nominated for the Sponsorship and Marketing Award.

In 2022 we came 4th in Welsh Professional Regionals and won the Pit Display Award.

We came 3rd in Welsh Professional Regionals in 2023, then coming 12th in the UK Nationals and being nominated for the Digital Media Award.

​

In 2024 we came 2nd in the South Wales Professional Regionals, winning the Fastest Car Award and the Best Engineered Car Award. We are now heading to the 2024 UK Nationals.

Now we have one goal - reach the World Finals!
